Usable Art: Notebooks and Journals

Each notebook and journal in this collection has a unique fluid art painting on its cover. Each one was poured separately using various techniques.

Some notebooks or journals have embellishments added to them, when the design called for it.

As such, each notebook (lined) and journal (unlined) can be considered individual works of art.

Usable art, also known as functional art, is a fusion of art and design. An object is modified using various fluid art or other conventional techniques then sealed/protected accordingly so that it can be used in everyday life while also serving as a work of art.
