Usable Art: Jewelry Boxes

Wooden jewelry boxes with unique fluid art designs on the lid. Each jewelry box is painted on the inside and outside using the dominant color in the fluid art composition.

Each box features foam storage under the lid. The bottom is divided into two sections: one is felt-lined for general storage, and the other has foam inserts. An antique brass clasp ensures the box latches closed.

Usable art, also known as functional art, is a fusion of art and design. An object is modified using various fluid art or other conventional techniques then sealed/protected accordingly so that it can be used in everyday life while also serving as a work of art.

The entire box is varnished for protection. Felt feet have been added to the bottoms to protect your furniture from scuffs and scratches.
