An abstract painting using pearl paints and regular acrylics over a black base.  Regular acrylic paints (in blue, red, purple, and green) are puddled over the black base.  Over this, their pearl counterparts (paints that appear white while wet) are puddled.  A marble is then rolled over them to create random designs and drag colors through the puddles. As the paints dry, the pearl paints develop into different colors and contrast against their regular counterparts (e.g., blue and pearl blue).
